At one month from the 2014 World Cup kickoff (Brazil-Croatia in Sao Paulo, 12/06/2014, 22:00 CET), four out of twelve stadiums hosting the competition have not been completed, as of 12/05/2014.

The Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo, which will host the opening match, will not be delivered before 21/05/2014. In Porto Alegre, work is completed inside the stadium, but the surrounding temporary structures are still not installed. The Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba will be inaugurated on 14/05/2014 and the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba is to be delivered before 15/05/2014.

Of the six stadiums that were not used during the Confederations Cup 2013 (15 to 30/06/2013), only two have been delivered: the Arena das Dunas in Natal was inaugurated on 22/01/2014 and the Arena Amazonia in Manaus, was inaugurated during the quarter-finals of the Copa Verde (regional competition) between Nacional-AM and Remo-PA (2-2) on 09/03/2014.
