2019-20 Serie A TIM: Juventus FC crowned Italian champions for the ninth consecutive season

Juventus FC have been crowned the 2019-20 Italian champions after their 2-0 win over Unione Calcio Sampdoria behind closed doors at the Allianz Stadium (41,570 capacity) in Turin (ITA) during Matchday 36 of the Serie A TIM) on Sunday 26/07/2020.

The Turin club have 83 points after 36 matchdays (26 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses), seven points more than FC Internazionale Milano (2^nd with 76 points) who can no longer catch up. This is Juventus' 36^th Italian league title and their ninth consecutive title (from 2011-12 to 2019-20), the longest run in the history of the Serie A.

With the new title, Juventus have extended their lead at the top of the Italian league table, well ahead of AC Milan and Inter Milan (18 titles each). The two Milanese clubs rank ahead of Genoa Cricket and Football Club (nine titles).
