"The fact that I am not believed as the Attorney General is detrimental to the (Swiss) federal prosecution office. Therefore, in the interests of the institutions I offer my resignation to the competent Judicial Commission," wrote Swiss Attorney General Michael Lauber on 24/07/2020 (see statement below).
