Italy: Lega Serie A's official YouTube account exceeds 5 million subscribers

The Lega Serie A's official YouTube account "Serie A" has passed the 5 million subscribers mark, according to the Italian league on 24/07/2020. The channel was created with the support of IMG and Little Dot Studios (a content distributor for social networks), partners of the body for its development strategy on YouTube.

"The profile in just one year has grown by 2.3 million users, offering more than 30 services every week including Highlights, TopGol, Best Moments, exclusive interviews and archive footage, for a total of over 1200 videos published this season. There is a decidedly young and international audience: 64% of subscribers, in fact, are fans between 18 and 34 years old from all over the world, with 62% of views recorded abroad, in particular from Indonesia, India, the UK, USA, Turkey and Brazil, and 38% from Italy," explained the Italian League.

"This season, the video with highlights of AC Milan - Juventus FC (4-2, Matchday 31 of the Serie A TIM), played on 07/07/2020, was the most watched video ever, with over 21 million views in total in Italy and worldwide…
