International Cycling Union (UCI): €37.7m in revenue and net deficit of €3.15m in 2019

The International Cycling Union (UCI) has posted revenues of CHF40.7m (€37.7m) for the 2019 financial year, according to the body in its 2019 annual report published on 24/07/2020. 2019 commercial revenues represent CHF8.9m or 22% of the total, at the same level as media rights and just behind the fees paid by UCI competition host venues (CHF10.6m, 26%).

"The net deficit of CHF3.5m (€3.2m) in 2019 was CHF1.6m below our budgeted deficit and a CHF3.4m (€3.15m) improvement on 2018," explained the body.

"The UCI ended the year with reserves of CHF45m (€41.2m), including investments of CHF30m (€27.8m) and current balances of CHF12m (€11.1m)," added the body.
