LaLiga Santander: Supersport extends broadcasting rights in sub-Saharan Africa

The South African audiovisual group Supersport International has extended its LaLiga Santander broadcasting rights in sub-Saharan Africa (all languages except Arabic and French) as part of a "multi-year agreement," announced LaLiga on 28/07/2020.

As part of the agreement, LaLiga TV, an English-language channel available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, will be offered to subscribers of DStv, Supersport's pay-TV offer.

Arabic and French language rights have not yet been allocated in sub-Saharan Africa. Canal+ Afrique held the French-language rights for the previous cycle (2015-2020).
