Premier League: presentation of the new Nike "Flight" football for the 2020-21 season

Nike has presented its new "Flight" football, which will be used in the Premier League for the 2020-21 season, announced the English League on 29/07/2020. The football will therefore be used for the 21^st season of the partnership between Nike and the Premier League (since 2000-01). Nike is an equipment supplier of the Premier League until the end of 2024-25.

"The Nike Flight ball, designed exclusively for the Premier League, is the culmination of an eight-year investigation by the Nike Equipment Innovation Lab into improving consistency of football flight. Incorporating new AerowSculpt technology, the Nike Flight ball offers improved aerodynamics through a revolutionary ball design," said the Premier League.

The "Flight" football replaces the "Merlin" model, used on English pitches since 2018-19. The new ball is available on the US manufacturer's online shop at a price of €134.99. The "Flight" model will also be used in the Serie A TIM and Tinkoff Russian Premier Liga for 2020-21.
