Olympique Lyonnais: Vincent Ponsot appointed general manager for "core-business football activity"

Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has appointed Vincent Ponsot as its general manager for "core-business football activity" which includes "the professional men's, women's, French and American teams; girls' and boys' academies as well as international academies," announced the club on 28/07/2020.

"Vincent Ponsot, until now deputy general manager in charge of HR, legal and sports administration, has been appointed managing director of football in direct contact with the president Jean-Michel Aulas and general manager Thierry Sauvage. Sports communication is now placed under the responsibility of the managing director of football," explained the club.

• Sam Primaut, who previously worked for Octagon, Amaury Sport Organisation, Lagardère (since renamed Sportfive) and the FFT, joins OL Groupe as marketing director in order "to lead the OL brand strategy in France and internationally."
