Premier League: Paul Cleal appointed equality advisor to the board on 29/07/2020

Paul Cleal (ENG) has been named as the equality advisor to the Premier League board, according to the English League on 29/07/2020.

"Paul Cleal will provide independent advice on anti-discrimination policy, programmes and BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) progression within the League and its clubs, which will help to build on the work already being undertaken in these important areas," continued the Premier League.

"Paul was made an OBE in the 2020 New Year Honours list for his work in promoting diversity and inclusion and has been a member of the League's equality standard panel since October 2017. A specialist in corporate finance, consulting and human resources, he has 30 years' experience in private and public sectors, including as a partner and board member at PWC UK and Africa," added the Premier League.
