Serie A TIM: Macron succeeds Joma as UC Sampdoria's equipment supplier for 6 seasons (2020-2026)

The Italian brand Macron has become the equipment supplier of Unione Calcio Sampdoria (Serie A TIM) for six seasons (2020-2026), announced the club on 05/08/2020. "Under the new agreement, Macron will supply kit for the team and staff, as well as a wide range of club merchandise."

Macron has the status of technical sponsor, the first level in Sampdoria's sponsorship hierarchy. The Bologna-based brand (ITA) succeeds Joma, the Italian club's equipment supplier for the 2015-2020 cycle. The Spanish equipment manufacturer had extended its contract with Sampdoria for the 2018-2020 cycle (€2.4m/season) on 04/12/2017, a renewal which included an option for an additional season in 2020-21. This option has therefore not been activated by the club.

Joma remains a partner of Atalanta BC and Torino FC until 2023-24, while Macron becomes the most represented Serie A TIM equipment supplier in 2020-21 with six clubs under contract (out of 19, Serie BKT's promotion playoffs not yet completed as of 05/08/2020).
