Belgium: bwin, new betting partner of the Pro League, acquires betting streaming rights via Eleven

The audiovisual group Eleven Sports Belgium (subsidiary of Eleven), has concluded two sub-licensing agreements for the broadcasting rights, in Belgium, to the Pro League, on 04/08/2020.

The first concerns bwin, a sports betting operator based in Gibraltar and belonging to the British group GVC Holdings, which, in addition to becoming the betting partner of the Belgian Football League (instead of Unibet) and of Eleven Sports Belgium on the 2020-2023 period, acquires the betting streaming rights, in Belgium, to the Jupiler Pro League, the D1B (Belgian second division) and the Belgian Super Cup over the same period.

The second is concluded with the French-speaking Belgian public audiovisual group RTBF, which acquires the broadcasting rights for the Saturday evening and Sunday evening match summaries, as well as the Monday evening broadcast of the Pro league competitions, over the 2020-2025 period.

  • The 2020-21 season of the Jupiler Pro League Ultimate Fighting Championship starts this Saturday 08/08/2020.
