LaLiga: Puma presents official balls for 2020-21 including one dedicated to El Clásico and derbies

Puma has presented the two official balls for the 2020-21 LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank seasons, announced LaLiga on 06/08/2020.

The first Puma ball named "Accelerate", whose dominant colour is white, will be used for the majority of matches in the Spanish championships. The "Adrenalina" ball, with a fluorescent lemon colour, will be dedicated to "special" matches such as El Clásico, derbies or decisive matches for the rankings. "The Adrenalina design features electrifying patterns symbolizing the nerves in the body to reflect the heartbeat increasing and the body producing adrenaline in the players on the pitch and the fans in the stands," said the Spanish body.

This is the second season of the partnership between the German equipment manufacturer and the Spanish League. The contract for the 2019-2024 cycle is worth between €5-€6m per year.

• The championships frequently use two official footballs during a season, one for the summer-autumn period, and the other for the winter-spring period.
