Premiership Rugby: 2019-20 season resumes on 15/08/2020 and 2020-21 season from 20-22/11/2020

The 2020-21 Gallagher Premiership Rugby season will start on the weekend of 20 to 22/11/2020, announced the organising body on 04/08/2020.

The 2019-20 season of the English championship is due to resume on the weekend of 14 and 15/08/2020 as Premiership Rugby indicated on 10/07/2020 and the nine remaining matchdays will then be spread over six weeks before semi-finals and a final played on 24/20/2020.

The 2019-20 Gallagher Premiership Rugby season was originally suspended until further notice with Premiership Rugby working on developing scenarios "for a number of restart dates," said the body on 08/04/2020. The English championship was then suspended until 24/04/2020, following an announcement on 16/03/2020.

In France, the LNR declared the definitive end of the professional championships (Top 14 and Pro D2) on 02/06/2020. The 2020-21 season will start from 04 to 06/09/2020. The 2019-20 Guinness Pro14 season is due to resume on 22/08/2020 with the start of the 2020-21 season scheduled for 03/10/2020.
