Bundesliga: +4.5 million followers for Bayern Munich on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram in 2019-20

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) has more than 78.7 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/08/2020, with more than 4.5 million additional followers compared to 01/08/2019 (74.1 million fans, +6%). No club does better in the German Championship in 2019-20.

The Bavarian club, the 2019-20 German champions, is the most followed German club, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund, which has more than 30.3 million followers (+14% compared to 01/08/2019). FC Schalke 04 complete the Bundesliga podium with almost 4.7 million fans (+6%).

RB Leipzig, after having experienced a strong increase in its digital fan base over the 2018-19 season (1,621,662 fans, +22.8%), is also the German club with the highest percentage growth over 2019-20; its cumulative number of fans on the three social networks with an increase of 59%, or 1,376,852 fans in total.
