"I renew the wish to have as many people as possible in the stadiums," said Didier Quillot, CEO of the LFP, in a statement sent to Agence France Presse on 11/08/2020 and communicated to News Tank Football.

This statement responds to the declarations of the new French Prime Minister Jean Castex on 11/08/2020 in which he announced the extension "until 30/10/2020 of the ban on events and gatherings over 5,000 people, with the possibility for the local prefects to determine their requirements subject to verification of strict compliance with health protocols."

"For several weeks, the Professional Football League has been working with the public authorities and the Interministerial Crisis Committee of the State. The LFP has drawn up a health protocol for welcoming the public which has been validated by the CIC," stated Didier Quillot.
