LaLiga Santander: Betway betting partner RC Celta de Vigo for 2020-2022 + an optional season

Betway, a sports betting operator based in Guernsey and Malta, has become a partner of Real Club Celta de Vigo (LaLiga Santander) for two seasons (2020-2022), with the 2022-23 season optional, announced the club on 12/08/2020.

The bookmaker has the status of official sponsor, the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of RC Celta. Betway thus gets visibility on the signage of the Estadio Abanca Balaídos (29,000 capacity) and on the club's communication media. The bookmaker succeeds bet365 (UK), the club's betting partner for the 2018-2020 period.

In 2020-21, Betway is the most represented main shirt sponsor in LaLiga Santander (Real Betis Balompié, Levante Union Deportiva et Deportivo Alavés). The betting operator is also the main shirt sponsor of Club Deportivo Leganés, relegated to LaLiga SmartBank for 2020-21. Betway is also tipped to succeed the Russian bookmaker MarathonBet, about to leave Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander), according to Spanish media on 18/05/2020.
