LaLiga SmartBank: RCD Espanyol present a special logo to celebrate the 120^th anniversary

RCD Espanyol (LaLiga SmartBank) presented a special logo to use for its upcoming120th anniversary, on 08/06/2020. The Barcelona club (Catalonia, ESP) was founded on 28/10/1900.

“To commemorate this event, the club created a logo that will shine on socio and season ticket cards this season. It is a simple yet elegant logo that brings together three parts of our club's identity: the RCD Espanyol name, coat of arms and our anniversary year (see below)," added the Catalan club.

"It will be a very special year for RCD Espanyol. The club celebrates its 120^th anniversary and continues its fight with great pride and determination despite the adversity and difficulties encountered. We are leaving behind a past steeped in history, a legacy built over generations and, even if our current situation is not easy (20^th and last in the 2019-20 LaLiga Santander, the club have been relegated to the 2^nd division for 2020-21), with hard work , we can envision a bright future together. We will celebrate 120 years as a demonstration of our strength and endurance," said RCD Espanyol.
