The British telecommunications group Sky has extended its rights to broadcast the National Football League (NFL) in the United Kingdom and Ireland "for an additional five years and on this occasion is launching a dedicated channel", the body said on 10/08/2020. "The deal marks the 25th anniversary of the NFL airing on pay-TV Sky Sports."

The new "Sky Sports NFL" channel, accessible via the operator's channel 407 from 03/09/2020, will notably offer a minimum of five live games per week during the 2020 season, which begins on 10/09/2020.

"The 'Sky Sports NFL' channel joins the portfolio of dedicated sports channels which already includes those devoted to the Premier League, football, cricket, Formula 1 and golf," said the Sky group.
