Switzerland: no events or gatherings with more than 1,000 people before 01/10/2020

The ban on gatherings of more than 1,000 people in Switzerland will be lifted no earlier than 01/10/2020, announced the Swiss Federal Council on 12/08/2020. "These demonstrations will be authorized again" provided that strict protection measures are respected and authorization is obtained from the cantonal authorities.

"For several weeks, the SFL has been working through a working group bringing together representatives of the clubs to adapt the existing concept of protection for training and competition. The objective is to achieve uniform implementation of the essential protective measures. These include the general obligation to wear a mask in all stadium areas, the closure of visiting fan sectors in both leagues as well as the temporary removal of standing places in the Raiffeisen Super League," explained the Swiss Football League the same day, whose Professional Championships are scheduled to begin on the weekend of 11 to 13/09/2020.
