FC Barcelona: launch of Barça Academy PRO in Miami (Florida), the club's second in the USA

"The Barça Academy project continues its global expansion with the opening of Barça Academy PRO Miami on 12/08/2020", announced FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) on 11/08/2020. This is the second Barça Academy PRO inaugurated in the United States by Barça, after that of Long Island (New York).

"The new football school already has 170 players on the three headquarters distributed in the city of Miami (Florida) to encourage the participation of as many athletes as possible. This is the 11^th project for the club in the United States, all initiated after the opening of a Barça office in the heart of New York (September 2016)," indicated FC Barcelona.

The Barça Academy PRO, also developed in São Paulo (BRA) and Haikou (CHN), is a more advanced football school project than that of a classic Barça Academy. The club sets it up in territories that it considers strategic in sporting and commercial terms, two areas that it then manages directly. Its operational involvement is thus greater. The two schools of Miami and Long Island are also the only ones managed 100% by Barça.
