Champions League "Final 8": "Impossible to renew this tournament format" (Aleksander Ceferin, UEFA)

"We are working day and night on the issues related to Covid-19, so everything post-2024 is a bit at a standstill, to be honest. This tournament ('Final 8') could be interesting in the future but I don't think we could do that because the schedule is too dense and we have to keep the domestic leagues in mind. I don't know when to insert a tournament of a week or two in May. I think it is impossible. We will start discussing the future of European and world football in September.
