Premier League: 2020-21 calendar published, champions Liverpool debut against Leeds United

Liverpool FC, champions of England in 2019-20, against Leeds United FC, champions of 2019-20 Sky Bet Championship, is one of the first fixtures on Saturday 12/09/2020 (kick-off at 15:00 local time, 16:00 CET), of Matchday 1 of the 2020-21 Premier League season, the schedule of which is published Thursday 20/08/2020 (see below).

The 2020-21 season begins a little over a month later than the 2019-20 season, which started on 09/08/2019 before being suspended by the English League on 19/03/2020 due to the health crisis, to finally resume on 17/06 and end on 26/07/2020. The 38^th and final matchday of the 2020-21 Premier League season is scheduled for Sunday 23/05/2021, 19 days before the opening match (in Rome, ITA) of Euro 2020, postponed to Friday 11/06/2021.

Burnley FC - Manchester United FC and Manchester City FC - Aston Villa FC are postponed to a later date.
