2019-20 Champions League: FC Bayern Munich crowned European champions for the sixth time

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) took home the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League trophy after beating Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) 1-0 at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Lisbon (POR) on Sunday 23/08/2020.

Already winners of the German Championship and the DFB-Pokal in 2019-20, the Bavarian club ended the season with their sixth Champions League title, their first since 2013.

With a sixth title as champions of Europe (1974, 1975, 1976, 2001, 2013, 2020), Bayern Munich joins Liverpool FC (Premier League) in joint third place in the list of the most successful clubs in Europe, which is dominated by Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, 13 titles), followed by AC Milan (Serie A TIM, 7 titles).
