2020-21 European Top 5: with Elche (ESP) and Spezia (ITA) promoted, the 98 clubs have been decided

The 98 clubs which will participate in the 2020-21 Top 5 European Leagues (18 in the Bundesliga and 20 in LaLiga Santander, Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Premier League and Serie A TIM) have been decided as of 23/08/2020.

Elche CF, promoted to the Spanish top flight, was the last of them, following their victory in the final of the promotion playoffs versus Girona CF (0-0, 1-0, on 20 and 23/08/2020). Three days earlier, Spezia Calcio had clinched their ticket to Serie A TIM by beating Frosinone Calcio (1-0, 0-1, victory thanks to a better ranking in the regular season) at the end of the playoffs. 13 clubs (out of a possible 15) join the elite divisions of the European Top 5 at the end of the 2019-20 season.

• England - Leeds United FC, who finished first in the Sky Bet Championship, join the Premier League, as do West Bromwich Albion FC, 2^nd, and Fulham FC, 4^th, winners of the promotion playoffs.

• Spain - SD Huesca, LaLiga Smartbank champions, as well as Cadiz CF, runners-up, join LaLiga Santander, as do Elche CF, sixth but winners of the playoffs.
