Serie A TIM: adidas succeeds Macron as equipment supplier of Cagliari Calcio from 2020-21

adidas has become the official equipment supplier of Cagliari Calcio (Serie A TIM) from 2020-21, announced the club on the occasion of the presentation of its shirts for the 2020-21 season, on 18/08/2020.

"The 20-21 Home shirt incorporates the club's iconic colors: red, blue and white. All colors of the first 100 years of Cagliari's history enclosed in a unique design that - looking at tradition - adds innovative elements that set an eye upon the future," said the Sardinian club which celebrated its centenary year in 2019-20.

adidas succeeds Macron, initially the club's equipment supplier for the 2016-2023 cycle (€0.9m/season). The agreement with the Bologna-based company (ITA) was prematurely terminated three years before it was due to end. The German brand is strengthening its presence in the Italian championship: until now, adidas has only been supplying the kits to Juventus FC (2015-2027, €51m/season).
