Premier League: JD Sports (sporting goods) becomes a sleeve sponsor of Leeds United FC for 2020-21

JD Sports, a British sporting goods distributor, has become a partner and sleeve sponsor of Leeds United FC for the 2020-21 season, according to the newly promoted club, on 25/08/2020. Sky Bet Championship clubs are not authorised to market their sleeve sponsorship space, while Premier clubs have been able to do so since 2017-18.

JD Sports has the status of a major partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the English club. The agreement also covers Leeds United's women's and youth teams. In the Premier League, JD Sports has also been a sleeve sponsor of Brighton & Hove Albion FC since 2017-18.

The promoted club has also changed its equipment manufacturer from Kappa to adidas for 2020-2025, and has welcomed a new sports betting operator, SBOTOP, as its main shirt sponsor replacing 32Red.
