France: Jean-François Soucasse, general manager of Toulouse FC since 2008, leaves the club

Jean-François Soucasse, general manager of Toulouse FC (relegated to Ligue 2 BKT) since 2008, is leaving the club, announced both parties 26/08/2020.

Former Toulouse FC player (1991-1995), Jean-François Soucasse returned to the club in July 2003 to lead the training center, before finally becoming its general manager. His departure coincides with the arrival of a new majority shareholder, the American investment fund RedBird Capital Partners (see below), and of a new president, Damien Comolli, in July 2020. He is replaced by Olivier Jaubert, appointed CEO at the beginning of August 2020.

"Jean-François Soucasse has participated for more than 15 years in the construction and history of the club, and we are very grateful to him. I wish him every success for the rest of his projects. I would like to thank him warmly for the quality of the work he did during the transition period when the club was taken over by Redbird Capital Partners," said Damien Comolli, president of Toulouse FC.
