Manchester City: Puma launches third kit that pays tribute to the city's music and fashion culture

The German brand Puma has activated its partnership with Manchester City FC (Premier League) and has launched a 2020-21 third kit for the men's, women's and youth teams that pays tribute to the music and fashion culture of the city of Manchester (ENG), announced the club on 27/08/2020.

The shirt features "a paisley pattern inspired by Manchester's rich musical heritage and fashion culture. Manchester has an illustrious musical history, known for its legendary artists and iconic venues, which has influenced the global musical landscape and continues to inspire the city’s thriving music scene to this day," explained the club, which is publicly supported by the Gallagher brothers (Liam and Noel), members of the English band Oasis. Noel Gallagher and members of the local band Blossoms were also present during the presentation of the third kit.

"The paisley pattern is synonymous with artists from the 'Mod' and the 'Brit Pop' eras of the 1990's and was a staple of youth fashion in the 1960's, influencing fashion and music culture in Manchester for generations," explained the club.
