Belgium: return of spectators (400 minimum) to first and second division stadiums on 11/09/2020

"A consultation took place between the various competent ministers and the Pro League concerning the protocol for matches with restricted public access. This protocol has been unanimously approved, which allows fans to cheer for their favourite team again in the stadiums from 11/09/2020," announced the Belgian League on 24/08/2020. This measure concerns the Jupiler Pro League (first division) and the 1B Pro League (second division), which resumed on 08 and 21/08/2020 respectively.

"The constructive cooperation with the various cabinets and ministers makes it possible for at least 400 fans to potentially return to their club's home matches from September onwards," added the Pro League.

"We would like to thank the ministers for their work over the past few weeks. Thanks to these joint efforts, we will soon be able to bring fans closer to football again. We are convinced that our clubs and their supporters will do everything they can to make the return to the stadiums as safe as possible," said Pierre François, CEO of the Pro League.
