Mediapro: Téléfoot apologizes for a technical failure during the broadcast of matches on 30/08/2020

Téléfoot, the French pay-TV channel belonging to the Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro, has apologised via social media for technical problems (black screen) encountered during the broadcasting, on its website and application, of games on Matchday 2 of the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season, on Sunday afternoon 30/08/2020.

"We apologise for the technical problems encountered today. They are related to a worldwide breakdown of our Internet Service Providers, beyond our control, which affects many digital services. We are doing everything we can to return to normal as quickly as possible," said the channel via its Twitter account "Téléfoot la chaîne help" on 30/08/2020. The breakdown concerned Century Link, an American company specialised in network and internet support.

The 13:00 (CET) match, Stade de Reims - LOSC Lille (0-1), and the 15:00 matches, Angers SCO - FC Girondins de Bordeaux (0-2), FC Metz - AS Monaco FC (0-1), FC Nantes - Nîmes Olympique (2-1) and AS Saint-Étienne - FC Lorient (2-0) were affected by the technical problem, which was resolved during the broadcast of Stade…
