Scotland: Rangers FC to build new "multi-functional facility" to replace the former ticket office

Rangers Football Club (Ladbrokes Premiership) has submitted a planning application for a new two-storey building to replace Edmiston House, the club's former ticket office and social club, that will be used as a "multi-functional facility" with the existing building due to be demolished during the course of the year, announced the Scottish club on 28/08/2020.

"We submitted our plans to Glasgow City Council for a fabulous building which we will use as a fanzone on matchdays and also include a state of the art Rangers museum, a café, a multi purpose conference and concert venue and new retail facilities over two floors. This substantial investment will provide fans with a vibrant pre and post-match experience and will draw fans to the stadium grounds well in advance of kick-off, creating an engaging offering within a safe and enjoyable atmosphere," said Stewart Robertson, managing director at Rangers FC.
