Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (September 2020)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season total nearly 124 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/09/2020. Ligue 1, the first European Top 5 championship to kick-off its 2020-21 season (on 21/08/2020), is the least popular on these three social networks combined, with an average of 6.2 million fans per club.

Paris Saint-Germain is the most popular French club with more than 80 million fans, followed by AS Monaco FC with nearly 10.9 million and Olympique de Marseille with nearly the same number.

The Parisian club, Champions League finalists in August 2020, posted the best growth in absolute value on each of the three social networks with nearly 1.4 million additional fans in total, including one million followers on Instagram, on which only FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) and FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) did better in the European Top 5 (+1.15 and +1.11 million followers respectively over the same period).
