Bundesliga: DEW21 (energy), premium partner of Borussia Dortmund for five seasons (2020-2025)

Dortmunder Energie und Wasserversorgung (DEW21), the German electricity, gas and water supplier for the city of Dortmund (GER), has become a partner of Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) for five seasons (2020-2025), according to the club on 02/09/2020. The agreement was negotiated by SPORTFIVE, the club's exclusive marketing agency.

DEW21 has the status of premium partner, the third level in the German club's sponsorship hierarchy. "All BVB fans and Dortmund residents can look forward to the joint activities that will accompany this partnership," said Borussia Dortmund. The agreement also includes co-branding for DEW21's "BVB Vollstrom" (electricity) and "BVB Vollgas" (gas) products.

To celebrate the agreement, the club and the German company crossed two beams of light in the night sky over Dortmund - one emanating from the Signal Iduna Park (81,365 capacity) and the other from DEW21's headquarters in downtown Dortmund (see video below).
