France: City Football Group acquires ESTAC Troyes (Ligue 2 BKT), 4^th club in Europe and 10^th overall

"City Football Group (CFG) has today announced that Espérance Sportive Troyes Aube Champagne (Ligue 2 BKT), has become its tenth club, following DNCG review of the acquisition," said the holding company that invests in football assets (professional clubs, infrastructure, innovation), on 03/09/2020.

"This marks CFG's continued investment and expansion into global football and its strategy to develop clubs, players and academies and share knowledge across them," added City Football Group, already a majority shareholder of Manchester City FC (Premier League), New York City FC (MLS), Melbourne City FC (Hyundai A-League), Sichuan Jiuniu FC (China League Two, China's third division), Mumbai City FC (ISL), Lommel SK (Belgian second division) and Girona FC (LaLiga SmartBank), and minority sharholder of Yokohama F. Marinos (J.League) and Club Atletico Torque (URU, Primera Division).
