Discovery (Eurosport): EMEA zone reorganised, Laurent Prud'homme steps down as GM for France

The American audiovisual group Discovery, parent company of the pay-TV group Eurosport, has announced a reorganisation in several EMEA markets (Europe, Middle East, Africa), on 03/09/2020.

The French market is now grouped together with the Spanish and Portuguese markets, and Laurent Prud'homme, general manager of Discovery France since 24/10/2019, is leaving the company after holding various positions within Eurosport for 20 years.

Antonio Ruiz, general manager of Discovery Spain and Portugal since March 2018, has been appointed general manager of Iberia & France.

Laurent Prud'homme had previously replaced Julien Bergeaud who took over as CEO of Mediapro Sport France on 01/11/2019.
