Atalanta BC: RadiciGroup (chemicals) succeeds U-Power as pocket/chest sponsor for 2020-2023

RadiciGroup, an Italian chemical group based in Bergamo (ITA), has extended its partnership with Atalanta BC (Serie A TIM) and will become its pocket (home kit) and chest (away and third kit) sponsor for the 2020-2023 cycle, announced the club on 04/09/2020. The agreement also covers Coppa Italia matches.

This is a decrease in partnership, since RadiciGroup - now a major partner (second level) - was previously the Atalanta BC's main shirt sponsor (first level) since 2017-18 (only for the Europa League and Coppa Italia in 2017-18). RadiciGroup paid €2m to the club in 2019-20. Since then, Plus500 (broker) has succeeded RadiciGroup as the club's main shirt sponsor for the 2020-2023 period.

The chemical group has replaced U-Power (safety footwear) as the club's pocket sponsor ("heart partner") for 2018-2020. "We are closely tied to our local communities and to Atalanta. We are two important organizations in the Province of Bergamo that have tried to team up to strengthen the common values we believe in," said Maurizio Radici, vice-president of RadiciGroup.
