Serie A TIM: "The potential to grow the AS Roma brand is incredible" (Dan Friedkin, new owner)

"The potential to grow the AS Roma (Serie A TIM) brand is incredible. This is already one of the biggest football clubs in the world - playing in possibly the most iconic city in the world. We have the fans, the passion, the history and the ambition - if we win on the pitch and act in the right way off it, we can showcase AS Roma to millions of people in Rome and all over the world," said American businessman Dan Friedkin, the new owner of the Italian club, in an interview published on the club's official website on 03/09/2020.

"AS Roma today begins a new era under new ownership. The Friedkin Group have announced the acquisition, by Romulus and Remus Investments LLC, of the 86.6% majority stake in the club," announced the Roman club on 17/08/2020. The transaction was valued at €591m.

The Friedkin Group, Inc. is an American holding company based in Houston (Texas, USA) which includes companies in the automotive, luxury tourism and entertainment sectors, among others.
