Bundesliga: Betway succeeds Yabo Sports as betting partner of Hertha BSC for 2020-2023

Betway, a sports betting operator based in Guernsey and Malta, has become a partner of Hertha BSC (Bundesliga) "for an initial three years (2020-2023)," announced the club on 08/09/2020. The agreement was negotiated by Sportfive, the club's marketing agency.

As the club's "official sports betting partner" the bookmaker has the status of exclusive partner, the fourth level in the sponsorship hierarchy of Hertha Berlin. Betway succeeds Yabo Sports (CHN), the first betting operator to become an exclusive partner of the German club for Asia over 2018-2020 cycle.

"With this new deal, the leading online betting company builds upon existing partnerships, whilst underlining their commitment to the Bundesliga and the German market as a whole. A major part of the deal will see Betway make use of the electronic advertising boards at the Olympiastadion (74,649 capacity).
