UEFA: 2022-2028 TV rights for matches between nations for Nent (Sweden), TV2 and NRK (Norway)

Nent Group has acquired for Sweden, the broadcasting rights in Sweden for the Euro 2024 qualifiers, the 2026 World Cup, Euro 2028, the Nations League (three editions from 2022-23 to 2026-27) and "a wide range of friendlies" over the 2022-2028 cycle, including all those of the Swedish national team, announced the free and pay-TV group on 04/09/2020. Nent will replace the free and private TV channel TV4, which held the rights for the 2018-2022 cycle. The new agreement will enable Nent Group to broadcast more than 1,200 matches, including 60 featuring Sweden.

In Norway, the free and pay TV group TV2 has acquired the same rights as well as those for Euro 2024 and Euro 2028 on 08/09/2020. TV2 will sub-license the rights to certain Euro 2024 and Euro 2028 matches to the Norwegian public TV group NRK. TV2 holds the same rights for the 2018-2022 cycle including the rights to Euro 2020 (postponed to 2021) for which it has also sub-licensed matches to NRK.
