ExclusiveLFP: "No more women on the board of directors, it's completely crazy" (N. Boy de la Tour)

"I have one regret: after the election of the League's new board of directors, there will be no more women (out of 25 members): it's completely crazy," said Nathalie Boy de la Tour, president of the LFP since 11/11/2016 and whose successor is to be elected at the French league's general assembly scheduled on Thursday 10/09/2020.

"I often asked to be joined by other women. I'm sorry, but it was quite easy to find some, especially among the (five) independent members. I can only conclude that this is not the case. Even if it is men's football, I am convinced that the professional sector would be better off if there were women: they still represent half of humanity. No women on the future board of directors, no women on the LFP's management committee either: this is not normal!" added the woman who has led the LFP for 1,399 days (from 11/11/2016 to 10/09/2020).
