AS Roma (Serie A TIM) has signed a partnership with the Biomedical University Foundation of Rome (ITA), which focuses on scientific research and innovation, including the development of a programme that will use the University's expertise for the prevention of injuries and occupational diseases, according to the Italian club on 02/09/2020.

"The five-year agreement will allow the club's players to be monitored not only in terms of their physical fitness, but also in terms of their cultural development and personality, with special attention being paid to the younger players," said AS Roma.

"Investing in research and identifying useful programmes for the growth of our young people is one of the club's hallmarks. With the Biomedical University we have already developed protocols related to the control and safety of the first team; today we are happy to be able to support the Biomedical University Foundation and we are sure that we will obtain mutual satisfaction through the projects we will develop together," said Guido Fienga, CEO of the Roman club.
