ExclusiveSponsorship: major changes among LaLiga Santander clubs for the 2020-21 season

The 2020-21 LaLiga Santander season kicks off with SD Eibar - RC Celta, at the Ipurua Stadium (7,168 capacity), on Saturday 12/09/2020 (kick-off at 16:00 CET). Betway, adidas, EA Sports... There have been a number of changes in terms of sponsorship for the new season.

Real Madrid CF, the 2019-20 Spanish champions, are the club that has signed the most agreements (five) since 08/06/2020, with easyMarkets (trading), Canon Medical (medical equipment), Liberbank (bank), Kok Sports (betting) and EA Sports (publisher of the FIFA 2021 video game). The Spanish League has also extended its licensing agreement with US publisher EA Sports until 2029-30, for between €8 and €10m per year.

adidas has succeeded Nike and Joma as the most represented equipment manufacturer in 2020-21 (four clubs under contract). While the equipment manufacturer market has been relatively calm - only one change: Club Atletico Osasuna has switched from Hummel to adidas - the main shirt sponsorship market has been more active.
