Cagliari Calcio: collaboration agreement with the Chinese city of Xiapu (population: 550,000)

Cagliari Calcio (Serie A TIM) has signed a collaboration agreement with the Chinese city of Xiapu (population: 550,000, Fujian province, located in eastern China), which includes the implementation of a comprehensive training programme for the city's young players and coaches, on 06/09/2020.

Cagliari Calcio had previously established a partnership focused on the training of players and coaches with the city of Xiapu for the 2019-20 season on 19/08/2020. "The foundations were laid last season and the aim is to consolidate the project. The coaches on site will have the task of sharing and distributing their knowledge and professional experience in China," said the Sardinian club.
