Italy: new logo for the Lega Pro (Serie C) and new slogan, "Football that is good for the country"

"The Lega Pro presents itself with a new image, which marks a new idea of football closer to young people, more innovative, capable of developing, and, in addition to the traditional sporting dimension, also in the economic and social dimensions. In addition to the new graphics, the new logo introduces another innovative element, the inclusion of the slogan 'Football that is good for the country'. With this choice, the Lega Pro wants to reiterate its vision of sport that goes beyond the competitive aspect," explained the Lega Italiana Calcio Professionistico, the Italian professional league which manages the Serie C (third division).

"The letter 'C' of the logo (reference to the Serie C) is made up of the colors of Italy, green-white-red, which symbolize the desire to go beyond the social colors of each team to represent the all of Italy," said the Lega Pro.
