Juventus FC: turnover of €573.4m (-8%) and net loss of €71.4m (+79%) in 2019-20

Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) has posted a turnover of €573.4m for the 2019-20 financial year (from 01/07/2019 to 30/06/2020), down 8% compared to 2018-19 (€621.4m), according to the club following the approval of its 2019-20 draft financial statement by the board of directors on 11/09/2020.

The Turin club (ITA) posted a net loss of €71.4m, compared to a net loss of €39.9m in 2018-19. Juventus FC's operating result was also negative and fell sharply to €48.8m, compared to €15.3m the previous season. These results are mainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The majority of the 2019-20 Italian champions sources of revenue are declining, starting with broadcasting revenue (down €40.2m, to €166.4m) and ticketing revenue (down €21.5m, to €49.2m), the latter having been particularly affected by the Italian championship being concluded behind closed doors (loss of revenue, in addition to reimbursements for season ticket holders).
