2020-21 Champions League: adidas and UEFA present the official ball for the group stage

adidas and UEFA have presented the "Finale 20", the official ball for the playoffs and group stage of the 2020-21 Champions League, on 14/09/2020. The playoff matches begin on 15/09, while the group stage begins on 20/10/2020.

The German equipment manufacturer has been the official supplier of UEFA club competition footballs since 2000. adidas retained the rights to the official Champions League ball for the 2018-2021 season on 22/05/2018. These rights also cover the UEFA Super Cup, the Youth League and the Futsal Champions League.

UEFA also launched a call for tenders inviting companies to express their interest in sponsorship rights for "men's club competitions" (official match ball, sports equipment and apparel) for the 2021-24 cycle, on 09/12/2019 (see below).

The draws for the group stages of the Champions League and Europa League for the 2020-21 season will be held in Nyon (SUI), and not in Athens (GRE) as initially planned, on 01 and 02/10/2020.
