ExclusiveSponsorship: major changes among Bundesliga clubs for the 2020-21 season

The 2020-21 Bundesliga season kicks off with FC Bayern Munich - FC Schalke 04 at the Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity) in Munich (Bavaria, Germany) on Friday 18/09/2020 (kick-off at 20:30 CET). 1 & 1, Puma, Flatex, Deutsche Bank... There have been a number of changes in terms of sponsorship for the new season.

Bayern Munich, the 2019-20 champions, have signed three sponsorship agreements since 14/05/2020, with Douyin/TikTok (social network), Siemens (technology) and Wangkanai (sugar producer, regional partner in Thailand).

This season marks the start of the three most lucrative partnerships in the history of Borussia Dortmund. 1&1 (telecoms) has become the club's main shirt sponsor for its Bundesliga matches, while Evonik (chemicals) continues to feature on BVB's shirts for international competitions (including the Champions League and Europa League), the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) and friendlies abroad. The combined total value of these two agreements, which cover the 2020-2025 cycle, is €40m per season, versus €18m paid by Evonik in 2019-20.
