LaLiga: M-Bet (betting), regional partner of the Spanish league in Africa for 2020-2023

M-Bet, a Tanzanian sports betting operator, has become a regional partner of LaLiga in East Africa for three seasons (2020-2023), announced the Spanish league on 17/09/2020. Five countries are included in the agreement: Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia.

M-Bet has the status of a regional partner, the fifth level in the body's sponsorship hierarchy. "Some of the highlights of this ground-breaking regional partnership will include intellectual property rights, DBR in Africa feed (Digital Board Replacements) featuring M-Bet's branding materials, ticketing and merchandising rights, and the sharing of digital assets," said LaLiga.

"LaLiga's fan base on the African continent has grown by leaps and bounds over the past decade. As part of the league's commitment to this fast-developing continent, regional partnerships like the latest agreement with M-Bet are being prioritised to bring the excitement of LaLiga football to local fans," added the Spanish body.
