Serie A TIM: Chipper (money transfers), regional partner of AS Roma in Africa

Chipper, a Californian company specialised in international money transfers, has become a regional partner of AS Roma (Serie A TIM) in Africa from 2020-21 in order to "advance football on the continent," announced the club on 17/09/2020. Chipper has the status of regional partner, the sixth level in AS Roma's sponsorship hierarchy.

"The partnership kicks off with a powerful community impact project between Chipper and AS Roma, who are making special edition AS Roma x Chipper footballs, that are handmade in Africa and made to last eight times longer than standard synthetic balls. The balls will be distributed to grassroots programs in disadvantaged communities in Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria and South Africa, as well as through AS Roma's youth partners in Nigeria," said the club.

"AS Roma and Chipper have utilised their respective expertise to design a set of drills which incorporates financial education with football training.
