Tennis: the Fed Cup renamed "Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas" from the 2020 edition

The Fed Cup is renamed to the "Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas" from the 2020 edition (postponed to 2021), announced the International Tennis Federation (ITF) on 17/09/2020. Former American tennis player Billie Jean King has been the competition's ambassador since 2019.

The ITF also announced the arrival, in the portfolio of partners of the competition, of Microsoft (technologies) and Magellan Corporation (transport). BNP Paribas has been the title sponsor of the Fed Cup since 2005.

The finals of the 2020 edition of the competition, which takes for a slogan "Be Bold Make History", will be contested at the Laszlo Papp Arena in Budapest (HUN) with 12 teams, from 13 to 18/04/2021. The Fed Cup by BNP Paribas 2020 finals, which were to be played from 14 to 19/04/2020, have been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic before being rescheduled in 2021, 06/26/2020.
